چکیده
Background: Recently, due to the numerous applications of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) in industry, various routes synthesize them have been developed. Objectives: The current study was aimed at synthesizing by leaf extract Berberis vulgaris and evaluating cytotoxic effects on human breast cancer MCF-7 cell line. Methods: nitrate solution were used nanoparticles. Ultraviolet (UV)-visible, Fourier-transform infrared, X-ray diffraction analysis spectroscopy transmission electron microscopy methods characterize confirm nanoparticles’ synthesis. activity synthesized (0, 5,10, 20, 40 µg/mL) also studied MTT assay. Results: results showed that Ag polydisperse spherical shape had a size about 19.9 nm. Silver reduced growth cancerous cells based time concentration. IC50 for 48 hours 20.27 µg/mL. Conclusions: findings an appropriate effect cells. This impact may be production free radicals through release ions.
